On Board: Good to Know
Quick rundown of what works and what does not on the boat.
Allowed
Glass bottles allowed
Bring whatever you like to drink - wine, beer, water, anything. Glass bottles are welcome on board.
Not allowed
No smoking on board
Smoking is not allowed at any time, anywhere on the boat. We can stop at a beach if you need a break.
Heads up
No bathroom on board - restaurant stops
There is no toilet on the boat. We plan stops at restaurants and beaches with facilities. On a full-day tour it works out fine.

Cooler with ice included
A cooler with ice is on board - bring drinks and food and they stay cold all day. You can also bring your own cooler if you need more space.

Snorkel mask welcome
We carry snorkel gear in limited quantity. Bringing your own mask and fins means you can swim at every stop, including the shallow coves.

What to know before you ride
Fuel policy
The Pasaras and the 60hp speedboat come with fuel included, nothing to do. The Mariner 150hp is full-in full-out, and we refuel together when you bring the boat back, so you do not have to sort it out on your own.
Speed zones
Maritime police actively enforce speed limits around anchorages and swimmers. Real fines apply - please respect every zone.
Alcohol & smoking
Moderate alcohol on board is fine. No smoking in the cabin or near the fuel tank. Glass bottles are permitted on deck.
Damage policy
Report any damage immediately - small things get handled easily when flagged early. A deposit may apply on the boat rental.
Return
We do a short check-in together at the harbour. Photos are taken before and after the rental to protect both sides.

Do I need a boat licence to rent a boat in Hvar?
Not for the Pasara 5hp. It needs no boating licence under Croatian maritime law, costs €150 a day with fuel included and suits the calm water around the Pakleni Islands. The 60hp speedboat and the Mariner 150hp need a valid boating licence. If you do not have one and want to go further, book a Private Charter and we provide the skipper.
How many people can rent a boat in Hvar?
Depends on the boat. The Pasaras and the 60hp speedboat are licensed for 6 and we rent them for up to 5, so nobody is squeezed. The Mariner 150hp is licensed for 12 and we keep it at 8. For larger groups we go out with two or three boats together, message us on WhatsApp.
What is included in the boat rental price?
Depends on the boat. The 60hp speedboat includes fuel. The Mariner 150hp is fuel full-in, full-out. Both Pasara options include fuel. Safety equipment and pre-rental briefing included on all boats.
Can I choose my own route?
Yes. With a skipper, we'll suggest the best spots based on conditions that day - but the route is yours. Self-drive rentals have recommended areas within the Hvar archipelago.
Is there a security deposit for the Mariner 150hp?
Yes. The Mariner 150hp requires a €300 security deposit paid in cash at pickup. It is returned in full at the end of the rental after a quick check of the boat. We do not accept cards for the deposit - bring cash.
Are dogs allowed on a boat rental in Hvar?
Dogs are welcome on board, on request. Message us before you book so we can prepare accordingly.
